Sinopsis Baby Faced Beauty

Drama Korea yang diproduksi pada tahun 2011 ini adalah pengganti drama The Thorn Birds yang telah usai penayangannya. Drama yang berjenis komedi romantis ini bercerita tentang  SEO orang wanita yang bernama Lee So-young (Jang Nara). Ia telah berusia 34 tahun, namun memiliki wajah sangat imut.

Karena wajahnya begitu imut sehingga bisa membuat orang-orang sekitarnya mengira ia masih sangat muda, termasuk bos di tempat kerjanya. Lee So-young telah bekerja selama 14 tahun di perusahaan tekstil namun setelah bosnya akhirnya mengetahui umur sebenarnya, ia malah dipecat dan diganti oleh wanita yang lebih muda.

Ia hanya memiliki ijazah SMA dan keluarganya memiliki banyak utang yang harus dilunasinya. Utang itulah yang membuatnya dulu tidak bisa melanjutkan pendidikan ke universitas jurusan desain busana demi impiannya menjadi perancang busana. Kini ia telah kepala tiga dan tidak punya prospek masa depan.

Tetapi Dewi Fortuna ternyata masih berpihak kepadanya karena So-young akhirnya mendapatkan pekerjaan yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Kini ia menjadi salah satu perancang busana junior di sebuah perusahaan fesyen The Style, masalahnya ia berbohong tentang nama aslinya karena memakai nama adik perempuannya, So Jin dan dikira masih berusia 25 tahun. So-young tidak berterus terang tentang jati dirinya sebenarnya karena takut dipecat lagi.

Di tempat barunya itu, ia harus menghadapi banyak orang yang beragam, mulai dari direktur pemasaran Choi Jin-wook (Daniel Choi), pria usia 27 tahun yang diam-diam disukainya hingga saingannya manajer tim Kang Yeon-seo (Kim Min-seo). yang ternyata disukai Jin-wook. Tetapi Yeon-seo mengincar presiden direktur The Style, Ji Seung-il (Ryu Jin) sehingga Jin-wook menjadikan So-young sebagai tempat curhatnya.

Sinopsis City Hunter

Penggemar manga Jepang pasti mengenal karya Tsukasa Hojo yang kini dianggap klasik, City Hunter. Pernah diadaptasi ke dalam film yang dibintangi Jackie Chan, kini diangkat ke dalam serial drama Korea yang juga berjudul sama pada tahun 2011. Kisah serial drama yang dibintangi aktor ganteng Lee Min-ho ini telah diubah sehingga berbeda dengan kisah aslinya.

Jika tokoh City Hunter dalam kisah aslinya adalah  SEO rang detektif swasta yang suka mengejar-ngejar wanita cantik namun sangat melindungi adik perempuan angkatnya, maka kisah drama Korea ini berkisar pada tokoh City Hunter yang hendak menuntut balas dendam kepada pihak yang telah menghancurkan keluarganya.

Dendam tokoh City Hunter yang bernama Lee Yoon-sung (Lee Min-ho) ini bahkan telah dimulai sebelum ia lahir. Dimulai sejak 27 tahun lalu ketika Park Moo-yul, ayah Lee Yoon-sung bersama pasukan elit Korea tewas dibunuh oleh pasukan negaranya sendiri demi menutupi rahasia lima politisi busuk. Rekan Park, Lee Jin-pyo merupakan satu-satunya yang selamat. Ia bertekad membalas dendam kepada lima politisi yang mengkhianati mereka.

Untuk itu, Jin-pyo tega menculik Lee Yoon-sung yang baru lahir dari ibunya dan membawanya ke pegununganThailand dimana Jin-pyo menjadi gembong narkoba. Jin-pyo yang juga menjadi ayah angkat Yoon-sung mendidik sang putra angkatnya dengan keras agar menjadi pria tangguh dalam pertarungan senjata dan tangan kosong. Tidak hanya itu, Yoon-sung dikirim ke MIT di Amerika untuk belajar teknologi informasi yang kelak digunakan sebagai alat balas dendam.

Akhirnya Lee Yoon-sung kembali ke Korea dan berhasil menjadi anggota tim IT Blue House (istana kepresidenan Korea). Ia memanfaatkan posisinya di sana untuk rencana pembalasan dendam kepada kelima politisi tersebut. Sebelumnya ia telah diperingatkan ayah angkatnya, agar tidak jatuh cinta kepada wanita agar tidak menghalangi pembalasan dendam. Namun cinta tak dapat ditolak karena ia jatuh cinta kepada Kim Na-Na (Park Min-young) yang merupakan pengawal Blue House.
